Do You Take Advantage of Coupons

By Casey Jefferson

Let's face it. The only reason why you aren't using coupons is because you are lazy. You know the savings, so you should also know how much money you are wasting by not taking the five minutes to save big.

Last time, I was able to get a $20 dollar item for $3. Yes, only one dollar. The retailer was having a clearance sale, and they allowed me to use a 40% off coupon on top of that.

The easiest way to save is to use coupons on top of items that are on sale. The key is to save the coupons so you aren't wasting them by going to a high priced retailer to use them.

Coupons are great but how do advertisers survive? They believe that once people are into their stores, they will end up buying other items to make up for the lost.

With big items, that single piece of paper we call a coupon may be able to save you thousands of dollars. So it's even more important to look for these discounts with high priced goods.

Sometimes though, it's best to not use certain coupons. Why? Because some retailers will send out a better coupon in a few days so be patient.

Searching for a coupon online is so much easier these days. Type, click and save. Usually, those coupon sites will even take you straight to the retailer to save you some time.

Use coupons only if you want to buy something anyway. Just because there's some coupons available doesn't mean you have to use it.

Even services will have coupons so it's not limited to buying a physical product. In fact, service coupons are even better because sometimes it's recurring and you are saving every month.

Many cashiers will have popular coupons saved on their cash register to save time in scanning the barcode so ask them for it even if you forget to bring it with you when you arrive at the store. - 29971
